Hilarious and accurate. Disclaimer: I don’t really like either the Sox or Yanks, so don’t shoot the messenger. I think he forgot the most annoying type of Yankee fan for us living outside the northeast: the dude who wears his Yankee cap just because he thinks the logo looks G. When I’m on the streets of DC, I have a lot more respect for the dude wearing the Nats cap than the one looking for “street cred” by sporting the Yankees one.

The other thing: when I go to a sports store hundreds of miles removed from Yankee country, why is there so much Yankees stuff for sale? Nowadays, it’s just as bad with Patriots gear. It’s like these stores are trying to breed as many bandwagon fans as possible.
