the boston celtics aren’t smart

ok, i’m getting sick of hearing this. every time a reporter asks the celts about their road woes, [insert random celtic player here] says, “if we’re gonna win the title, we got to learn how to win on the road”
no - you don’t. lucky for you, y’all play in the leastern conference and racked up the best regular season record in the league, so NO, you don’t have to win on the road. which sucks, because you’re clearly not the best team. but then, the last couple champions really haven’t been the best team in the NBA.
and another thing the celts have going for them - rajon rondo is an excellent perimeter defender who should merit all-NBA defensive consideration every year.

Gimme a break. That’s just something you say. How’s this: Kobe Bryant is an idiot. He never went to college. Equally valid. And seriously “leastern conference”? firstly: Stop taking writing tips from Plaschke. Secondly: The celts did pretty well against the west this year- 25-5 or something like that.

playing 30 games against the west doesn’t take the same toll as playing 52, and leastern conference isn’t a term i picked up from plaschke. one, i don’t read him unless it’s through you and two, i’ve had that in my vernacular for AGES now.
some of the smartest people in the world never went to or completed college so completely baseless argument about kobe. he speaks more eloquently than nearly anyone in the NBA.
and it shouldn’t be something you JUST say. charles barkley and kenny smith said it pretty clearly on inside the NBA today - they shouldn’t be worried because they consistently win at home, which is all they have to do.

Cough Cough, my comment on kobe wasn’t serious. Cmon people. I was saying that was as valid as saying the celtics are dumb. Which is to say, its not valid.
