It’s one AM. I guess I gotta update the site.
So basically, Ozzie Guillen is insane. He has been quoted, “You’re going to see hit-and-run [plays] when it’s not a hit-and-run situation. You’re going to see people bunting when it’s not a bunting situation.” Read here for more on this idea.
So, how many sac hits to the White sox have this year? 18!!!! Good for 26 overall (one more than the redsox).
He’s not bunting like crazy! He’s not costing his team outs! He’s not causing his team to score less runs!
Also of note, compare the bottom five teams in sac hits to the top five teams. Which five has a better record? (retorical-ish, obviously the bottom five)
At least Cincinatti’s third. Dusty Baker’s doin his “ruin the team as best you can” thing. Too bad he doesn’t have any highly touted young arms to drive into the ground by trying to have them pitch complete games every time out.
But seriously, if Ozzie Guillen isn’t crazy anymore, what can anyone believe in?!
