And You pretend to read. That’s the deal. I haven’t really had much I wanted to post about here recently, and noone else has posted in foreverzzz so I’ll write something contrived. How bout me copying a simmons thing where i use something like song lyrics to make predictions that probably are wrong and stuff? Yeah? coolz
This song has been stuck in my head for about 4 days, so here’s an NBA preview using “changes” lyrics by Tupac.
I see no changes wake up in the morning and I ask myself
is life worth living should I blast myself? Read the rest of this entry »
This video was sent to us from an (unreliable?) source. Apparently this guy is supposed to be an NBA prospect in 2012. Rumor has it he plays point guard in some Korean leagues and is tearing those leagues up.
This might be a sidd finch type deal, but this is the second time I’ve heard the name jin-young kim, so I’m letting the world judge for itself.
You can hear a guy at the end yelling for them to “stop the tape.” Maybe someone didn’t want this video getting out?
Yeah take that Tampa. I just want to point out that by any statistical measuring tool the phillies are the better team (unless you value middle relief over offense and other pitching, although I havent looked at all the numbers, there is probably a way to make an argument that the rays are better, like saying the AL is way better or pointing out that they gave up 671 runs as opposed to the phillies 680 because that is like a huge difference, I still think that the pitchers that will pitch in the series are definitely better on the phillies, and this concludes this crazy runon parenthetical reference.)
Aint no party tonight in tampa.
And if you havent figured it out by now, I made this post solely to reference ghostland observatory lyrics and link this.
EDIT: It’s possible that the AL is way better than the NL and that is a reason why the rays will win. It’s possible. Another reason I would throw out there is that the AL East was the best division in baseball and tampa had to play like 75 games against other AL East foes. Of course, Tampa was only the 3rd best team (or tied for second) in the AL East, so take that for what it’s worth. I still think the Phillies are winning.
We don’t have the readership to do a “ruin a poll” like collegehumor does, but everyone go to this poll and vote for jack black. Reason? It’s ridiculous that that photo was included in this contest.
We haven’t made any real posts recently so I figured I’d empty out the ol’ mailbag (cue crazy sound effect/bangin rock music). As always, these are actual emails from not actual readers. Read the rest of this entry »
I was already thinkin of titles for my farewell sox post. “Goodnight Youk” and “Year of the Ray and Ryan Howard” were early favorites.
I guess I’ll just link this. Pretty good song. The chorus will be repeating in my head until the sox lose. Also, little known fact, the other other shammgod likes this song too. It’s capitals fault that I know that tho. Seriously. Im not a weird person. (It’s also capitals fault that im bleeding from my face, but its worth it. I need to concoct a really ghetto story as to how I got this scar tho.)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. As that guy in harold and kumar said, “The universe tends to unfold as it should.”
So today i pretty much decided that i would not write serious posts anymore about anything and i would just mess around and stuff. Then I saw this. Then my right eye started twitching and my left arm went numb. The next thing I knew it was 3 days later and I had a tattoo that said “what’s cookin’ good lookin” in Korean on my stomach. And then I wrote this.
Before I say anything, Im sure that Steve Kallas means well and I wish him the best of luck in his web logging adventures. Now I will rip apart everything the man seemingly stands for Read the rest of this entry »
