This is Awesome

Sorry picture of butterface cheerleader.  You are not on the top of this page anymore.

So basically, this might happen.  I’m pumped.  I guess sometimes I purposely point out how I disagree with the norm, kind of like Skip Bayless (so I gotta stop myself sometimes, because everyone hates Skip).

Honestly though, Starbury is awesome.  I think he’s a good person (this is great!).  He’s also amazingly good at basketball and not a “team cancer” because those don’t exist.  I sometimes think people are just jealous of these athletes who maybe sometimes don’t give 100% but are still making millions because they are extremely talented, while understanding that it is only a game.  TO? Great. Manny? Awesome.  Steph Marbury? Cool as hell.  And if you think Marbury or even Manny don’t work hard then you just don’t know what you’re talking about.

Why did no one make fun of Tyler Hansbrough when he bragged about shooting like 75 3’s a day (something people who dont play basketball do all the time)?  Was it because he’s white, travels a lot, and seems to work hard when he plays?  Yeah probably that last one. The thing is, Psycho-T needs to work hard because he kind of sucks (compared to NBA players).  Marbury probably works just as hard, but people don’t see him that way.  It’s because Marbury is sooooo talented, and works very hard, that he is able to be the great player he is.  Hope to see you in Boston, Starbury!

just want to add, after watching that marbury video I went on one of those youtube chains where you watch tons of similar videos in a row.

they were all awesome, and then I (stupidly) clicked on this one. I knew it would be lame, but I kinda just wanted to see how bad it was. Goodness gracious Deron, you are so boring!

    team cancers exist.

  3. capitalsports Says:

yeah, eagles fans have factual evidence to the contrary

  4. the other shammgod Says:

Oh you mean the guy that almost single handedly won a superbowl for the eagles even though he was playing on a practically broken ankle? You mean that guy?

    Yeah, what a team cancer/douchebag.

  5. eaglesforever Says:

TO played great in the superbowl and made a huge sacrifice just to play, so you definitely have to give him props for that. but i was talking about the guy who single handedly killed the team the following year, split the locker room into two factions, and damaged our franchise quarterback’s reputation for several years. also, TO wasn’t exactly a model citizen this year for dallas. He certainly had an above average season on the field, but most football gms don’t think he’s worth the headache (28th in receptions, 13th in yards, and tied for 5th for touchdowns)

  6. eaglesforever Says:

Football outsiders has TO ranked as an even more average wide receiver, with a DYAR (defense adjusted yards above replacement player) rank of 41 and is even below average with respect to his DVOA (defense adjusted value over average player at his position) with a ranking of 57 (and value of -6.4%). AND, most importantly, bill simmons and bill simmons buddy cousin sal (a dallas cowboys fan) both stated that TO is now an average wide receiver on the playoff edition of the BS report.

that said, the cancer disappears very quickly when the team is winning, and the celtics aren’t about to be losing anytime soon.

somehow i missed this the first time… but you see that picture and you think of butterface?!? i dunno man…
